Thermogenics Inc. Boiler Skid Package
Bird was awarded the fabrication project for a custom-built portable rental boiler sea container for Thermogenics Inc., a leading North American manufacturer specializing in coiled tube steam, hot water, and thermal fluid boilers.
Designed for emergency and rental heating applications, this fully integrated, self-contained unit enables quick connection to a facility’s existing systems—offering a mobile, high-efficiency heating solution when downtime isn’t an option. Bird Infrastructure managed the project end-to-end, including labour, supervision, materials, equipment logistics, and the complete fabrication and assembly of the containerized system.
Project Details
Bird built the pre-designed skid packages and supplied, fabricated, and installed a condensate tank and stand. Fabrication included assembly of the boiler stack roof closure, safety valve and steam outlet roof closures, accompanied by a TSSA inspection and piping report. Once the skid package was fabricated and completed, Bird installed the Thermogenics boiler and pumps, completing the hookups and reading for installation.
End-to-End Fabrication
Bird supplied all labour, supervision, materials, and equipment to fabricate the system’s essential elements, including the boiler piping, fittings, supports, owner-supplied valves, and specialty items.
Custom Fabrication
Bird modified the sea container with added doors, railings, and full electrical/control wiring for rapid, plug-and-play deployment on-site.
Team Selection
Bird supplied all labour and supervision for this fabrication project.
Manufacturing
Bird provided all materials and equipment to fabricate the system's core components.
System Commissioning
With a successful TSSA inspection and piping report, this project met stringent safety standards.
