Bird Infrastructure Supports Clifford Street Youth Centre and the Next Generation of Skilled Trades

Bird Infrastructure is committed to strengthening the communities where we live and work, which is why members of our Northside team recently visited the Clifford Street Youth Centre in Sydney, Nova Scotia. The centre provides a safe and welcoming environment for local youth, offering daily meals, homework support, mentorship, and life skills programming that help young people build confidence and create pathways toward future success.

During the visit, Bird team members learned more about the centre's programs and its efforts to introduce youth to careers in the skilled trades through partnerships with local unions and industry organizations. As part of the visit, Jovan Clarke, Lori Borgal, and Travis Combden proudly presented a donation on behalf of Bird Infrastructure. The contribution will help support meal programs, educational resources, and hands-on learning opportunities for youth in the community.

"Supporting organizations like the Clifford Street Youth Centre is an investment in both our communities and our future workforce," said Jovan Clarke, Project Manager. Through partnerships like these, the centre can continue providing valuable opportunities and resources for local youth. Bird Infrastructure is proud to support initiatives that empower young people, strengthen communities, and inspire the next generation of skilled trades professionals.
