Brandon is the Chief Executive Officer of Bird Infrastructure. He is the third generation to enter into the family business. Following in the previous generations’ footsteps, Brandon started his apprenticeship with the company and completed his Red Seal Plumbing Licence. As the pillar of the company, Brandon is responsible for the business strategic direction and creative vision. He leads and motivates his team, or “The Flock” as he calls it, working closely with the Executive Team.
Working in conjunction with the Executive Team, their mission is to develop high quality business strategies in alignment with the Bird Infrastructure brand and principles. Brandon’s goal is to drive the company’s development towards long-term success, above and beyond the mechanical industry standards. As a true visionary, Brandon has managed the acquisition of several industry related companies that have supported the expansion of the company’s service offerings. Brandon has taken the company across Canada to establish roots in the Nova Scotia and the Atlantic Canada Region. His primary objective is to transition the company into new markets while reinforcing Bird Infrastructure as a niche service provider in a highly specialized industry. Brandon continues to build trusted relationships with industry key partners and stakeholders. Additionally, he works closely with skilled trades and colleges to provide support to a variety of philanthropic and industry-strengthening initiatives that benefit the entire construction industry.

Yolanda is the Chief Financial Officer at Bird Infrastructure, having become an integral part of the company in 2016. With a wealth of experience garnered from senior financial and accounting roles, she brought a rich tapestry of knowledge when she joined the team. In her capacity as CFO, Yolanda operates in close collaboration with the Executive Team by developing operational budgets, evaluating, and transparently reporting on the company’s finances, and actively participating in the formulation of the organization’s financial strategic objectives. Additionally, Yolanda oversees the working capital management, acquisitions, and investment analysis. Her financial stewardship not only ensures the financial health of the company but also positions Bird Infrastructure strategically in the ever-evolving landscape of the construction industry. Yolanda’s multifaceted contributions, marked by her dedication and strategic acumen, play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s trajectory and ensuring its sustained prosperity.

Dan is a seasoned construction professional and the Chief Operating Officer at Bird Infrastructure, where he began his journey in 2010. Dan demonstrates exceptional innovation and strategic prowess; he swiftly climbed the corporate ladder into various leadership roles. His leadership skills were evident during his tenure as President of Tin Knockers Custom, a subsidiary of Bird Infrastructure. A graduate from Ontario Tech University with a degree in mechanical engineering, Dan’s expertise spans diverse areas, including project management, construction operations, and estimating. His impressive career trajectory saw him progress from roles such as Project Manager and Construction Manager to Executive Vice President within the company. Dan is celebrated for optimizing company offerings while staying attuned to industry trends. In his role as Chief Operating Officer, he collaborates closely with the CEO, guiding the company’s daily operations and providing invaluable support to the executive management team.

Rey serves as the Executive Vice President, at Bird Infrastructure where he plays a pivotal role in the business’s growth across Ontario and Atlantic Canada. With a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Rey actively contributes to estimating, design, mentorship, and business development for all company endeavors. His hands-on approach has been instrumental in opening our Atlantic Canada office and successfully securing major projects for Bird Infrastructure. Since joining the company in 2007, as a forward-thinking leader, Rey established a solid foundation using a blend of proven methodologies, cutting-edge research, and technology. His expertise extends to market analysis and future business developments, ensuring the company’s competitive edge. Overseeing estimating and marketing, Rey fosters synergy among these units. Rey is deeply committed to mentoring within the company, fostering the growth of future industry leaders. He collaborates with employees in different roles, aiding them in developing a strong understanding of the mechanical industry. This support enables individuals to thrive in diverse positions, including estimators, project managers, coordinators, and project support roles. Rey’s leadership not only enhances operational performance but also cultivates a culture of excellence and teamwork across the board.

Tyler is the Vice President of Civil Operations at Bird Infrastructure. As the company expanded into multi-trade services, Tyler was a pivotal member of the team. He joined the flock in 2015 as a Site Superintendent bringing with him extensive industry experience. In 2018 Tyler transitioned into a General Manager role with R.G MacDuff Contracting at the time of the acquisition by Bird Infrastructure. 2022 saw the amalgamation of R.G MacDuff and Bird Infrastructure where Tyler was promoted to the Vice President of Civil Operations. Tyler is versed in construction management and supervision. He has the essential leadership abilities to direct and manage a diverse team including subcontractors and multi-trade services. He is an efficient manager who effectively completes projects on-time and on-budget. He is skilled at cost estimates, budgets, productivity and schedules. Tyler is able to clearly communicate and direct various scopes of work and technical information to his team, subcontractors and on- site personnel.

Brandon became a valued member of Bird Infrastructure in 2015, joining as a Foreperson and Licensed Red Seal Plumber. He brought with him extensive experience in both the mechanical trades and management. Beginning his career as a licensed plumber, Brandon gained hands-on expertise through a variety of construction projects. Over time, he advanced into prominent leadership positions, including site supervisor, project manager, and director. Brandon has been instrumental in helping significantly grow our plumbing and HVAC service team, doubling the size of the department and securing major plumbing and HVAC service contracts. Currently serving as Vice President of the Service Department, Brandon is a proactive leader who acts as the primary point of contact for his service team and technicians. He skillfully manages the day-to-day operations of the Service Department, working closely with construction teams on refrigeration and equipment installations. His role involves overseeing equipment procurement, creating customized preventative maintenance programs for clients, and managing labour resources to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. He also provides exceptional after-sales support to strengthen customer relationships and loyalty. With a keen eye for detail, Brandon evaluates project performance, coordinates emergency response efforts across multiple service sites, and ensures smooth communication with vendors and subcontractors.

Andrew is the Vice President of Specialty Trades and Support Services for Infrastructure and the President of Tin Knockers Custom. During his tenure at Bird Infrastructure, Andrew quickly established himself as a dynamic team member and progressing through various roles within the organization including key positions such as Asset Manager, Estimator, Project Manager, and Director of Support Services, allowing him to uniquely position himself within the company. Through these roles, Andrew has gained critical experience in overseeing operations while ensuring that metrics and objectives are met through established procedures and criteria. Currently, in his dual role, Andrew is responsible for managing budgets, monitoring resource allocation, and leading workforce and business development initiatives. His ability to seamlessly navigate both positions speaks to his exceptional organizational skills and strategic vision, allowing him to prioritize tasks effectively and adapt to the evolving needs of both companies. He is committed to leveraging his experience and qualifications to foster team collaboration and ensure continued success in both companies, driving innovation and efficiency while maintaining a strong focus on achieving shared goals.

Jeff joined Bird Infrastructure Ltd.’s Atlantic Canada Operation in early 2021 as a Service Manager and quickly advanced to Operations Manager before assuming the role of General Manager. With over 30 years of industry experience, Jeff, a licensed gas fitter and HVAC/R Technician, began as a tradesperson and progressed through supervisory and managerial positions. As General Manager for Atlantic Canada Jeff plays a key role in implementing the strategic vision for Bird Infrastructure’s Atlantic Operations Jeff collaborates with our Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President, jointly overseeing preconstruction activities and project progress in a synergistic partnership. He provides crucial managerial support and guidance for construction teams and subtrades, overseeing projects, procurement, estimating, and the construction teams Jeff strategically plans, directs, and coordinates designated projects to ensure objectives are achieved. In his daily oversight of construction activities, he offers technical advice, ensures quality control, and presents innovative solutions. Jeff’s extensive technical knowledge is complemented by his strategic planning skills and financial management expertise. This is evident in his coordination of work scopes for various trades, where he applies a blend of technical support and strategic planning to achieve project success.
